ABOUT

CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

We are facing egregious public safety issues, economic decline and some basic city functions that aren’t being performed to the satisfaction of its residents. The primary goal of this campaign is to outline key elements in revitalizing neighborhoods within the 4th Ward district. Working with business owners, residents, property owners, schools, police and public safety groups in partnership with neighborhood associations is essential for the growth of the revitalization of our community. For example, snow removal, we will work with contractors to provide snow removal services to keep our streets plowed so we can navigate throughout the neighborhood. The revitalization of commerce, housing and improving the livability of the 4th Ward and the City of Minneapolis is what I am committed to.

CAMPAIGN PROPOSAL

The Angela Williams ForWard 4 campaign is to invest in the provisions that will make the Ward successful. This includes shifting the paradigm of pliability and accountability. We will bring structure to what we believe our playbook should look like when people come to live, work and play in the 4th Ward. We must be in a place where people, all people are thinking forward. We will develop a partnership with businesses, property owners, residents, neighborhood associations and leaders in all 4th Ward neighborhoods to create and protect community value which will ensure the needs of the stakeholders are understood and addressed. My responsibility is to inspire and serve the community and provide new conservative leadership the 4th Ward has been missing out on. The fact that we don’t have enough police officers to meet the demands of our growing population is a complete failure and money at the city level is grossly mishandled and siphoned off to political allies. It’s time to put a stop to the corruption and put the money back into communities.

It’s time to prepare for the future. Conservatism is the way.

–ANGELA WILLIAMS

My experience of building financial districts and organizing communities has given me the wherewithal to develop platforms to mobilize our Ward with practical solutions, common sense, and fiscal responsibility. We are better together than we are apart. We must galvanize everyone to contemplate on how we can increase our impact on the community.
